Sanam Re is a 2016 Hindi romantic drama film directed by Divya Khosla Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor. The film stars Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela, while Rishi Kapoor appears in a crucial supporting role.

The film revolves around the love story of Akash (Pulkit Samrat) and Shruti (Yami Gautam), who are childhood sweethearts but get separated due to circumstances. Akash grows up to be a successful corporate employee in Mumbai, while Shruti becomes a yoga instructor in Canada. Fate brings them together again at a yoga camp, where they rekindle their romance. However, they face many obstacles and challenges in their relationship, including Akash's fake affair with Akansha (Urvashi Rautela), who is actually the girl that Akash's grandfather predicted he would fall in love with when he was a child.

The film received mostly negative reviews from critics and audiences alike, who criticized the film's weak plot, poor direction, illogical twists and clichéd dialogues. The film was also accused of plagiarism from several Hollywood films, such as The Notebook, P.S. I Love You and The Fault in Our Stars. The film's music, composed by Mithoon, Jeet Gannguli, Amaal Mallik and others, was praised for its melodious songs and soulful lyrics. The title track, sung by Arijit Singh, became a chartbuster and won several awards.

Sanam Re was released worldwide on 12 February 2016 on Valentine's Day weekend and grossed US$3.83 million against a production budget of US$2.5 million. The film was a moderate success at the box office, but failed to impress the critics and the audience.
