SEN Ability and Home Learning sessions

Here at DanSci we pride ourselves in being all inclusive. Over the years we have been operating we have met some amazing dancers who may not have had the opportune to take class or participate in performances in a more traditional dance teaching setting. We are on a mission to change this!

As well as inviting dancers to join any session we also offer specific ability classes for those with special educational needs or learning disabilities for those wishing to enjoy one to one or small group classes or simply learn technique alongside like minded dancers.

Adapting our sessions to meet individual needs these are more than dance technique classes. You will improve your fitness, creative & communication skills whilst enjoying social interaction and making new friends.

My boy is 8 and has autism, it's not easy to find a hobby for him. He has been turned away, asked to leave or just treated differently at a lot of places. That's not the case here, his teacher Miss Julia and all the students are just fantastic. From the first day they've really made him feel really welcome, he looks forward to going each week and thoroughly enjoys himself!

Offering performance opportunities as well as regular classes

We know that our families come from diverse backgrounds, family situations and abilities. As well as Ability dance sessions we offer the opportunity for the home learning community to socialise, gain confidence in their physical and creative abilities and take part in some awesome work shops and classes.
