PERFORM! Opening & Close of the 2023 Showcase

This year we are shaking things up in the showcase. Rather than our performance team opening and closing the show in July we are opening up the opportunity to all dancers aged 8 years and above (that includes adult dancers!) To take part in a special routine which will open the performance, setting the scene and starting the finale as the close to the show.

We are super excited to be able to invite more dancers to participate in this. It is especially great for those who would like to be on the stage more. It will be crossed genre so it doesn't matter which discipline the dancer currently attends class in.

Obviously these numbers can not be learnt in class time like the rest of the choreography therefore we will have a number of rehearsals on Saturdays to learn the pieces.

Spaces will be limited and on a first come first served basis. We ask that you ensure you are available to attend all the listed rehearsal dates and times.

April 29th 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM First rehearsal

May 6th 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM 2nd rehearsal

May 13th  2:00 PM - 4:00 PM 3rd rehearsal

June 10th 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM 4th Rehearsal

June 17th  2:00 PM - 4:00 PM 5th Rehearsal

July 1st  2:00 PM - 4:00 PM  Reserve rehearsal date if extra time needed

Studio 1

Fee will contribute towards, rehearsal space and staffing, insurance, music licensing and costuming

This is a fantastic opportunity for the dancers to work collaboratively with dancers across the DanSci family
